They sold out the Fringe for five years and in their sixth year it is clear that they are likely to do the trick again. These guys from Kenya are a phenomenon! Five guys who mime their way through a one hour set which has a loosely based plot set on a railway station in America (although the station board had English stations listed but that’s the only possible negative comment I could find!)

While we don’t hear any speaking at all we do follow the simple plot regardless but it’s not about the drama here, it’s about the dancing and the acrobatics which is quite extraordinary! These guys do the moves fully clothed in suits and there is clearly one guy who is as strong as an ox with every set-piece revolving round his ability to take the strain when sometimes the other four are being carried by him in what would appear to be impossible moves.

Breath-taking alone simply doesn’t describe this show at all. It is a performance from five super-fit guys who give their all to the audience in that hour and they are rewarded by receiving the warmest of applause and perhaps the easiest five star rating I could give. Just do yourself a favour and buy a ticket for this one. It should be first on your list for the Fringe this year and then look at everyone else. Satisfaction guaranteed and a killer 60s soundtrack.
