Everyone loves a bubble show. We are all kids at heart and in this show Maxwell the Bubbleologist delivers in spades for all ages. The wonder on the faces of the youngsters was matched by the wonders on the adults in the audience, and for an hour you can switch off from all the outside problems and immerse yourself in what is the mother of all bubble shows.
Maxwell takes this show to new heights (literally) with his aerial acrobatics and offers something completely unique to him. The lighting is outstanding, the fact that the show is presented in the round is a huge bonus and it’s a show that builds and builds to a magnificent climax.
In his interview with me on Fringe Radio he revealed that he is aiming for an even bigger show. The world needs a definitive bubble show to do for the bubble world what Cirque de Soleil has done for the circus, and if any man can pull it off it will be him. Comfortably 5 stars from start to finish one of the first boxes to be ticked when coming to the Fringe.
n.b. We’ve put this is the drama category as this is probably the closest of the categories it fits into – it could easily have been put in the magic category as the show is truly magical.
