An Unbiased Afternoon With Allaster McKallaster

What better way to spend an afternoon than in the Auditorium inside the Museum and watching Scotland’s most unbiased commentator, Allaster McKallastar, in action with clips from his viral videos mainly commentating on Scotland’s football matches.

His spoof commentaries have reached a worldwide audience now thanks to social media and the obvious next step was to put together a live show featuring Pete Reid’s character being interviewed by Hugh McHugh.

As expected there were plenty of Scottish jerseys on view in the audience, and plenty of laughs from the star of the show who stayed in character all the way through. The running gag of Allaster’s love of Archie Gemmill was enjoyed by everyone, but the big question on everyone’s lips was whether or not Archie would put in some kind of appearance in the show, and if so, in what form would this appearance take? Well I can’t possibly comment except to say that the ending works well.

It’s a great laugh and plenty of potential for Allaster to continue long into the future. There’s always things to commentate on when it comes to Scottish Football!
