Tom’s relaxed delivery gave the sell out audience an hour of jokes and stories that hit the mark. He also bounces off some unsuspecting members of the crowd in a well-trodden but successful path.
The cosy environment of the Stand is a perfect location for any comedian and he even pokes fun at the fact that he’s performing in ‘a shitty basement’ for the 7th year.
Taking aim at the rules surrounding culture, race and politics he manages to turn what could be very dry topics into superb humour. It’s obvious why he is a past master of the comedy circuit, delivering a great show that leaves you wanting more.
He’s a man at the top of his game. He’s served his apprenticeship ten times over and it shows.
